How to write a better solo ad with AI
A practical workflow for turning your offer into a clear subject line, useful message and honest next step.

AI can get a draft on the page quickly. A good solo ad still needs a real offer, a believable benefit, and one clear action. Here is a process you can use before you spend a single sending credit.
Start with the destination
Open the page you plan to promote. Write down what a visitor will actually see: the product, who it serves, what they receive, the price if there is one, and the next step. If the page does not support a claim, leave that claim out of the ad.
Use a short brief: “I help [audience] do [specific task] with [offer]. The page shows [proof or feature]. The next step is [action].” This is better input than asking AI to “write a high-converting email.”
Ask for choices, then select one
Write three solo-ad subjects and a short email for this offer. Use only the facts below. Avoid income promises, fake urgency and invented testimonials. Keep paragraphs short and end with one direct call to action. Offer: [paste your brief].
Choose the subject that accurately describes the promise on the landing page. Curiosity can help, but the click should lead to the answer the subject implied.
Edit for a human reader
Read the email aloud. Replace broad phrases such as “revolutionary opportunity” with a specific outcome or feature you can verify. Break long blocks into one or two sentence paragraphs. Remove repeated benefits and any second competing link.
If you have permission to use a first-name merge field, add it once in the greeting. Use your real signoff. These details help the message feel personal without pretending you know the recipient.
Check the click path
- Does the subject match the email?
- Does the email match the landing page?
- Is the link complete and working?
- Can a new visitor understand the next step on a phone?
- Have you removed any claim you cannot support?
Save the draft, preview it, and send only when the full path makes sense. ATS members can use the AI Solo Writer for a first draft, then review and edit the result before placing it in a solo ad.
